Hotel Villa Bordoni organises both residential and non-residential cooking courses and offers lessons based on both Tuscan and other regional dishes. We are also able to custom make programmes to suit specific diets or levels of expertise, and upon request, we can also provide intense, several day programmes.

Rustic Lesson - La cucina povera!
Dedicate an afternoon to discovering traditional Tuscany in Loretta Somigli's farmhouse kitchen.
Our rustic lessons are dedicated to the discovery of historical dishes such as ribollita, pappa al pomodoro, fett'unta, cinghiale in umido.
Throughout the lesson, you will also be guided through a wine tasting, discovering a variety of Tuscan reds and whites.
Your lesson is followed by dinner based on your efforts.
The lesson includes the cooking lesson, guided wine tasting, dinner and wines, and has a cost of 150 euros per person.
Dinner Class
Arrive at Villa Bordoni (transfers available from the town of Greve on request) 4.p.m. Meet in the restaurant bar for afternoon tea followed by a short tour of the hotel grounds. You will then meet one of our chefs who will lead you on your discovery tour of Italian cooking. You will prepare a FOUR course seasonal menu using vegetables and herbs from our gardens and Villa Bordoni’s own extra virgin olive oil. The menu will include a fresh pasta course and you will also gain insight into the wonderful art of combining particular sauces with particular types of pasta.
Finally, wander through to the hotel’s enchanting walled garden where you will dine on the delicious dishes you helped to prepare.
